Claire Bodkin, MD, is a queer femme, community organizer and resident physician in family medicine. Her clinical and research interests are care of people who use drugs, people who experience incarceration, and people who are queer and trans. She is a co-organizer with Hamilton Social Medicine Response Team (HAMSMaRT), who has been working with Hamilton, Ontario’s harm reduction group Keeping Six to support the needs of people who are homeless or use drugs during the COVID-19 pandemic. @healthinthehmmr
Tommy Brothers, MD, is a resident physician training in general internal medicine and addiction medicine at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His clinical and research work focuses on improving healthcare for people who are socially marginalized and excluded, including people who use drugs and people experiencing homelessness. He helped co-found HaliFIX OPS, Atlantic Canada’s first overdose prevention site. @TDBrothers
