Sara Tessier

Sara is a social justice advocate with lived experience who has spent the last five years working with, and on behalf of, some of the most marginalized, victimized, criminalized and institutionalized men,women and youth in Canada. She currently works with John Howard, Elizabeth Fry and Coverdale
Courtwork Societies. She is an advisor for African Nova Scotian Affairs Mobilizing Partnership Program; Trafficking and Exploitation Services System; and CAEFS Lived Experience Committee.

In the near future, Sara will be joining the board of directors for Elizabeth Fry Society-Mainland as well as attending law school at Dalhousie University.
