Rafik is a community health scientist and educator. He organizes with the Los Angeles Mental Health Assistants Program, developed by incarcerated peer workers Craigen Armstrong and Adrian Berumen.

Nicholas is the director of Carceral Ecologies, a lab in the Life Sciences Division at UCLA where he’s also an assistant professor of human biology and society.
